Chris is the founder and Director of VaxCalc Labs, the informed consent technology company. VaxCalc’s purpose is to create a happier, healthier, more scientific and resilient world by empowering each individual to make their own vaccination decisions – with the tools, technology, planning capability, research and community they need to do it.
VaxCalc is the first business that celebrates vaccine hesitancy, providing a structured process, compassionate support, and a global online community for informed vaccination decision-making. VaxCalc expresses Chris’s dream of creating a powerful force for good in the world by overcoming censorship, strengthening and spreading freedom, and creating community.
A two-decade veteran health-freedom advocate, Chris did his own research to protect his children from excessive over-vaccination and the one-size-fits-all dogmatic thinking that afflicts many pediatricians. This lead him to volunteer from 2007 through 2018 as the volunteer Director of Innovation for the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC).
In 2016, he fought successfully to protect and preserve Virginia’s religious exemption. And in 2020, he was an active part of the parent’s revolution in Virginia that swept Governor Youngkin into office.

Chris has been featured on Real Faith Stories and Votary Films Story Acceleration (episode 1) podcasts.
Chris is a full-stack software developer, open-source contributor, published vaccine safety researcher, dot-com boom bootstrapper, cryptoassets investor, and founder of the largest DevSecOps meetup group in the United States. DevSecOps is the practice of building “better software faster, with security built in”.
Chris serves on the technology/communications working group of the Prison Outreach service team, helping to bring centering prayer to every prison in America. In service of this mission, Chris founded the Prison Outreach National Database project (POND) to produce software that manages a nationwide network of volunteers, prison mailings and the required logistical support.
Chris also advises INfire on technology usage. INfire raises and equips leaders to serve children caught in cycles of violence and human trafficking in some of the most dangerous parts of the world.
His thematic scripture is Matthew 9:13: “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’”
